Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BurroHost web hosting services. By signing up or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Services

BurroHost provides shared web hosting, domain-related services, SSL certificates, and automated website backups as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@burrohost.top if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Billing and Payment

Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in advance. The price you sign up for is the price you renew at — we do not apply introductory pricing that expires.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Invoices are sent by email. If a payment fails, we will notify you and allow a 7-day grace period before service suspension.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, we will issue a full refund. Subsequent billing periods are non-refundable unless required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BurroHost services to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operate spam-related infrastructure.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Host content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or attempt to breach other systems.
• Host illegal content under applicable EU or local law.
• Consume excessive server resources that degrade service for other customers (shared hosting fair-use limits apply).

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Uptime and Service Level

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for hosting infrastructure. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 24 hours in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure, upstream provider outages, DDoS attacks).

7. Data and Backups

We perform automated daily backups and retain them for 14 days. Backups are provided as a convenience and do not replace your own backup strategy. We are not liable for data loss caused by customer actions, software bugs, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you host with us. You grant BurroHost a limited licence to store, transmit, and serve your content solely to provide the hosting service. BurroHost retains all rights in its platform, brand, and software.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your control panel or by emailing hello@burrohost.top. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data will be retained for 30 days post-cancellation, after which it will be permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BurroHost's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland, unless applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
